The dryer beeped.
"What the hell?" Gerald wondered, going to the laundry area. He only turned on the dryer fifteen minutes ago, there was no way that it could be finished now. Not even bothering to check the clothes, he turned the dryer back on and walked back to the living room where he sat down, restarting his LOST marathon.
Just as Jack was arguing that there was no such thing as fate, the dryer beeped again.
"Son of a bitch!" Gerald muttered, heading back to the laundry room. Opening the dryer, he felt a wave of heat come from the open door.
********
Geraldine blinked, waving the heat away from her. Reaching into the dryer, she felt her clothes.
"Still damp," She said, almost amazed. She had heard AKEA was this amazing store, but it seems like their dryers were a piece of shit. The phone rang, and she hurried over to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Geraldine? This is Elliot."
"Oh, hi Elliot," She said, cheering up. "What's going on?"
"Well, I was wondering, what are you up to tonight?"
"Hmm… nothing, I suppose," Geraldine admitted. She was in the middle of a 24 marathon, but she figured she could put it off for a day. "What do you have in mind?"
"How about dinner and a movie?"
"I'd like that," Geraldine said. "What time?"
The dryer beeped.
"Hold that thought," Geraldine said with a hint of annoyance. She didn't remember turning the dryer back on, but…. She went to the dryer, opening it and feeling another wave of heated air hit her.
********
Gerald blinked, his ears twitching in annoyance. He poked his head in, feeling the clothes with his claw.
"Seriously? What is this dryer for, keeping clothes damp?" He exclaimed. Shaking his head, he restarted the dryer and went back to the phone.
"Sorry about that," He said, his tail twitching. I got a new dryer and I have no idea how to work it." Ellen giggled.
"Maybe you should try reading the instruction manual?" She suggested.
"It's a dryer, you turn it on, it dries your clothes, you turn it off," Gerald sighed. "Though, if it keeps acting up, I just might have to read it."
"Anyways, you were about to give me a time you'r ecoming over?" She reminded him.
"Right!" Gerald exclaimed. "How's 8:00?"
"That sounds good!" Ellen said. "I'll see you in a couple of hours?"
"Sure," Gerald said. Hanging up, he looked at the time. "Oh crap!" He exclaimed, seeing that it was all ready 6:30. As if on cue, the dryer beeped. "Oh, come on!" He exclaimed, opening the dryer.
********
Geraldine gave a shout of annoyance.
"Finally!" She cried, pulling out her clothes. "We finally have dry clothes!" Laughing, she started folding her clothes when she stopped.
"How the hell?" She cried, her ears peeled back in anger. "Everything except my black dress is dry?" Muttering, she shoved all her clothes back into the dryer, her tail flicking in anger. She had half a mind to call AKEA up and complain… if the dryer stopped and her dress wasn't ready, Geraldine would follow up on that threat. Otherwise, she would just have to watch House, M.D. until then.
Twenty minutes later, the dryer went off, and Geraldine opened the dryer door, and
********
blinked. Didn't he have everything ready? Gerald tapped his claws on the door, confused. Shaking his head, he left the room, scratching his scales. Something seemed off, but he couldn't figure out what it was. Gerald shrugged it off as pre-date jitters, and continued getting ready.
This time, when the dryer went off, he ignored it.
After the date, Ellen and Gerald walked back to his house for drinks.
"You know, I'm having a really good time tonight," Ellen said, smiling.
"Me too," Gerald agreed. They smiled at each other.
Ten minutes later, they were in the bedroom, their clothes scattering the floor.
Ellen woke up the next morning before Gerald did. Deciding to go ahead and have a shower before Gerald woke up. She quietly moved to the laundry area, her sharp claws tapping n the hardwood floor. Ellen glanced at the dryer, deciding that there'd probably be something for her to cover herself with in there. She opened the door and stepped back, not expecting the wave of heat that followed.
********
Elliott blinked. Hadn't the dryer been off?
"Maybe it was leftover heat," Elliott muttered. He'd heard of weirder things. Grabbing a stray towel, he walked to the bathroom, quietly starting the shower. After a few moments, the bathroom door opened, and Geraldine walked in, her orange hair untidy.
"You should've woken me up," She told a startled Elliot. "I would've joined you," she said, undressing.
After breakfast, they decided that they would check the dryer one more time. Throwing in the towels they had used that morning, Geraldine turned the dryer on.
"Come on," She said. "Let's share some breakfast while we wait for this thing to malfunction."
"All right," Elliot laughed, giving her a kiss. "Let's go." As they ate, they talked about what they should do, in terms of their relationship.
"You could always move in with me," Geraldine suggested. "You already know your way around the place." Elliot's face reddened.
"Good point," He said. "I could probably get my stuff moved out quickly, I don't have a lot." Geraldine kissed him.
"Then it's settled," She said. "You're moving in with me."
"I guess I am," Elliot agreed, kissing her again.
They forgot all about the dryer.

AKEA shampoo
Derek looked down at the bottle in his hand and sighed.
"AKEA brand shampoo, guaranteed to refresh and revitalise you," he read. "As good as anything I guess." Placing the bottle in his shopping trolley, he continued around the store. He'd heard some strange things about the place, especially from a couple of his friends, and had decided to check it out for himself. So far it seemed fairly normal, so he'd decided that he might as well buy a few things while he was there. He continued to stroll around the store, checking out the odd item, and even putting one or two in the trolley from time to time, and by the time he'd finished, it was

Goo Surprise!!!
One day Kent smirked evilly as he walked over to his friend Dan's house wanting to show him a surprise he had just gotten in the mail. Kent chuckled loudly walking up to the house knocking on the door. "I hope he hurries." Kent thought seeing the knob turn. "Yo." Kent greeted.
In the door stood Dan, Kent's friend. He was average height, skinny, scrawny, and pretty much it. Oh, and had curly brown hair. Dan gave a wave and let him in noticing his friends behavior.
"Uhm, you alright man? You've been grinning since you got here." Dan said curiously.
"Oh yeah man i'm better than alright i'm absolutely stoked!" He exclaimed showing Dan a clear

One of my first (and best) stories centered around AKEA and an AKEA product, although this one seems to be broken... oh well.
